The questionnaires contain common diet and lifestyle questions across each
centre (core questions) and, in some centres, additional questions which
reflect particular interests of individual scientists.
In addition to dietary assessment, the questionnaires asked for details on history of alcohol consumption,
occupation, socioeconomic status, age at puberty and reproductive history, use of contraception
and of hormonal drugs, history of previous illnesses and current physical activity.
