Future plans
|
It is planned to continue and further extend the EPIC programme of investigations concerning:
|
- The role of dietary patterns, physical activity and anthropometry in the etiology of cancers, including the more rare cancer sites.
- Endogenous hormones (steroid hormones, insulin, growth factors) and their potential role in the etiology of cancer of the colorectum, breast, endometrium, ovary and prostate.
- The interaction between genetic polymorphisms and nutritional and lifestyle factors.
